DROP, the New ATOM Liquid Staking Provider
There is a new LSD provider in the blockchain town: Drop.
Developed on Neutron, it aims to get new opportunities to use staked tokens, through liquid staking and earning rewards without locking assets. By participating, you can also use the staked ATOM on other apps, be eligible for airdrops (Droplets Program), and support the growth of the interchain ecosystem. TIA will be supported soon too.

Babylon, the new BTC Staking protocol
Babylon is a suite of Bitcoin security-sharing protocols. Built using the Cosmos SDK, it leverages Bitcoin's security to enhance Proof-of-Stake chains. Phase 1 was launched but already reached its goal of 1008 staked BTC.

MATIC to POL migration
On September 4th, POL will be officially launched. While POL is intended to fully replace MATIC, MATIC and POL will coexist and both serve for consensus and staking.
Friendly Reminders:
If you are staking MATIC, your MATIC tokens will automatically remain staked and be withdrawable as POL in the future. 👉 You do not need to manually migrate into POL in order to keep staking or move your MATIC to POL. All the information and instructions will be available as soon as the POL Staking is officially revealed and launched.
