🌊 Sui Staking, Events, Airdrop and Neutron Launch
Your Monthly Proof-of-Stake updates are here!
Happy Saturday to you! We’re excited to share another monthly newsletter filled with the latest updates with you. So, let’s dive right into it.
Suppose you are interested in Web3 and blockchain. In that case, you’ve probably heard that Sui launched its Mainnet, and Stakin is glad to say that we’re supporting Sui Mainnet with our reliable and secure infrastructure. Stakin has been working on the various events and testnets leading up to the official launch of the Sui network, and our infrastructure is ready to generate staking rewards for our delegators. Sui is a highly scalable and developer-friendly Layer 1 Proof-of-Stake permissionless blockchain. This network boasts remarkable speeds and low operating costs and supports a variety of application developments. Sui's innovative features, such as object-centric design, programmable transaction blocks, transaction processing, horizontal scalability, and Sui Move, make it a unique and exciting platform.
Then, some news from the business and development side. We’re excited to inform you that it’s now possible to stake $SUI with Stakin via Bitgo. Additionally, delegators can now find Stakin in the Crypto.org DeFi wallet, where you can stake and trade $CRO, $SOL, $ETH, and many other digital assets. Give it a try if you haven’t already. You can also check out our YouTube video for an extensive guide on staking $CRO.
Stakin’s latest product addition, our API service, has been onboarded by a leading accounting firm and is taken for a spin. If you’re interested in our API services, please contact institutional@stakin.com for more information.Â
On that note, here’s what else happened at Stakin during May:Â
Stakin Joins Stader Labs as PowerUp Partners
Obol Alpha Release and Cluster
Neutron Airdrop and Token LaunchÂ
Phase 5 of The Celestia Blockspace RaceÂ
Stakin joined NFT Tallinn and Spaghetti ETHÂ
Stakin to increase fees for Persistence OneÂ
Stakin Joins Stader Labs as PowerUp Partners
Stakin is excited to join the group of Permissioned Node Operators as an ETHx PowerUp Partner in cooperation with Stader Labs. Thanks to this agreement, users can now earn ETHx by staking through the Stader platform, taking advantage of both liquid staking and the dependability of Stakin's validator services on Ethereum.
Stakin has been actively participating in the ETHx Beta Node Operations over the past several months and working closely with the Stader Labs team to offer insightful comments during the setup process. They ensure that ETHx offers users and node operators a unique value proposition through their cooperation. To further the platform's functionality, we have also actively supported and thoroughly tested the flow for Permissionless and Permissioned NO flows. Hear more about the collaboration and Stader ETHx in the recording below.Â

Obol Alpha Release and ClusterÂ
At the beginning of May, Obol kicked off their Alpha Release. Stakin is glad to say that we’ve joined a multi-org cluster with P2P Validator and Chorus One. The Obol Network's Alpha release marks the beginning of its effort to incorporate the Obol protocol into staking apps gradually. They'll cautiously launch a few DVs with a select group of reliable partners because this is the first time Ethereum Mainnet DVs have been deployed outside of the Obol Core Team. The reason for the Alpha Launch ahead of V1 is that this allows Obol to be highly involved in the deployment and ensure all lessons are recorded on Mainnet (Ethereum). Â
Neutron Launch and AirdropÂ
Excellent news for the Cosmos community, the very first Consumer Chain launched into the $ATOM economic zone this month. Neutron went live! As experienced Cosmos validators, we’re happy to ensure that our Cosmos delegators now not only earn $ATOM staking rewards but are also entitled to earning Neutron rewards. Furthermore, with the $NTRN Token being live, check if you’re eligible for the $NTRN Airdrop. You can find all information here.
Celestia’s Blockspace RaceÂ
In May, the 5th Phase of Celestia’s Blockspace Race kicked off. During this phase, validators will begin running an early version of the Quantum Gravity Bridge, one step closer to making Celestiums possible. Furthermore, during this phase, the testnet will undergo an upgrade to try out a new mechanic for hard forks. For those unaware, Celestia is a modular blockchain platform offering its users sovereignty, customizability, and decentralization. Its unique architecture lets developers focus on their application's core logic while Celestia handles consensus and data availability layers. More information about this blockchain can be found here.Â
Lastly, we’d like to thank everyone who joined us at the NFT Tallinn event and watched the workshop with Stargaze. Our team had a blast! Furthermore, we also very much enjoyed our time at Spaghetti ETH in Naples. You can catch the Stakin team in upcoming events: Aurora Web3 Conference in Helsinki and EthCC Paris. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in meeting up.Â
Stakin to Increase Fees for Persistence OneÂ
We close today’s newsletter with an essential update for Persistence delegators. To ensure the long-term viability of our node operations for $XPRT, we will be increasing our fee to 10% on the 1st of July. We'd like to thank you for your understanding and continued support.Â
DISCLAIMER: This is not financial advice. Staking, delegation, and cryptocurrencies involve a high degree of risk, and there is always the possibility of loss, including the failure of all staked digital assets. Additionally, delegators are at risk of slashing in case of security or liveness faults on some protocols. We advise you to do your due diligence before choosing a validator.
